Madreselva
Four complete directions. Each one is a whole system: a thesis, a palette, a type pairing, an identity approach, and an imagery language. They are not variations on a theme. A is what is currently live; B and C are the two that put nature and technology in the same frame; D goes the other way entirely and argues the opposite case.
Nothing here is decided, and none of it enters the brand registry until you pick one.
Direction A
A living thing, photographed as a museum would photograph it. The subject is real, lit hard from one side, and surrounded by darkness. The interface is entirely colourless so the photograph is the only source of colour on the page. Restraint is the whole argument: it reads as money because it refuses to perform.
Strength: immediately expensive, ages extremely well, no trend attached to it. Weakness: says nothing about technology. A visitor learns you have taste, not that you operate in AI. This is the one currently live.

Natural capital Forestry, carbon origination, and sustainable finance.
Identity
Wordmark only, no symbol. The photograph carries recognition, so a glyph would be a third voice competing with two that already work. This is the position most luxury houses actually hold, and it removes the whole problem of designing a mark that has to justify itself.

Direction B
Nature seen through machines that see better than eyes do. Cyanotype, X-ray, spectral and thermal capture: the plant is still the subject, but it arrives through an apparatus. Typography is technical rather than luxurious, and the page carries specimen numbers, coordinates and dates as first-class design elements rather than hiding them.
Strength: it puts nature and technology in a single image instead of alternating between them, which is literally what the portfolio is. Weakness: cold. It reads as a research institute more than a house that holds capital, and the register is further from money than A.

Identity
Not a glyph, a registration block. The name sits above a rule with a fixed set of technical metadata beneath it, the way a specimen label or an instrument plate does. The identity is a system that can be reset per context rather than a single locked shape, which is unusual and very hard to imitate.

Direction C
The structural argument. Root systems, mycelium and leaf venation photographed so closely that they stop reading as plants and start reading as networks. Nature and technology are not juxtaposed here, they are revealed to have the same shape. The identity is generated from that structure rather than drawn.
Strength: the most intellectually honest fit. A holding company is a network of positions, and this makes that the visual thesis. It also scales into a systematic identity. Weakness: network imagery is close to well-trodden technology territory, and it needs real discipline to avoid looking like a crypto brand.

Identity
A connected graph whose nodes are the holdings. It is a real mark, but it is also generative: add a position and the structure grows a node. The identity documents the portfolio rather than describing it, and it never needs redrawing when the portfolio changes.

Direction D
The contrarian option. Paper rather than screen, light rather than dark, and an editorial serif instead of a grotesk. Pressed specimens, plate numbers, a collector's archive. It argues that a holding company should look like an institution with a past, not a technology company with a future.
Strength: nothing else in your portfolio looks remotely like this, and light-ground archival design is genuinely rare among private capital sites, which almost all go dark. Weakness: it openly contradicts the AI half of the story, and the serif needs defending. I include it because you should see the opposite argument before committing to a dark direction.

Identity
Wordmark, rule, caption. The composition of a plate label. The serif is the entire identity, so it would need to be a better serif than this one, properly licensed and probably not from Google Fonts. Justification for serif: archival and collection registers are a genuine editorial tradition, which is the narrow case where a serif is not simply the default premium reach.

Imagery panels marked as pending are being generated now. Palettes, type pairings and identity treatments above are live and real, not mockups. Direction A is currently deployed at madreselva.pages.dev; the other three exist only on this page.
